Michelle

Michelle Marquis is a founding member and President of ShortCuts4STR, bringing more than three decades of hands-on experience across property management, revenue strategy, and short-term rental technology. As a consultant, she works with property managers to strengthen homeowner acquisition, sales process, pricing strategy, and operational clarity—and with suppliers to sharpen positioning, go-to-market strategy, and credibility with professional operators. Michelle is known for translating complex strategy into practical execution, asking the uncomfortable questions, and helping companies grow without losing their soul (or their margins). She is also the author of A Bossy Girl’s Guide to Leadership, grounded in real-world stories from the vacation rental industry.

I build bold systems for bold companies—and connect the people who make them work.

For the past two decades, I’ve been deep in the vacation rental and proptech industries—scaling teams, building revenue engines, developing PMS products, and helping companies grow with clarity and confidence.

From my time at TravelNet (Track PMS) to leading Grand Welcome’s national franchise expansion, I’ve worked across every layer of the industry: tech, operations, customer success, partnerships, and go-to-market. I built and led a Customer Success team that held attrition in the single digits for nearly a decade—because growth only matters when your customers stay.

But what really sets me apart? I connect dots—and people.

I’ve spent years building trusted relationships with the industry’s top property managers, suppliers, tech leaders, and influencers. I know who’s credible, who’s scaling, and who’s just making noise. I use that insight (and access) to help my clients move faster, close smarter, and avoid expensive missteps.

I work best with founders, CEOs, and operators who are serious about leveling up—people who want clear systems, sharper strategy, and unfiltered truth from someone who knows the space. I bring structure, not red tape. Boldness, not ego.

Let’s make the complex simple—and the bold possible.
